I’ve been thinking about my recent launch of Lifecharting. I know there is still a view that astrology somehow predicts the future and tells you what is going to happen.
But as my clients are very aware, that is not how I work. Lifecharting is based on the premise that each of us is a small fragment of ever unfolding consciousness and that it is our decisions that help us move forward into our future selves. The outer planets give us clues about what is manifesting and taking shape as a whole but the outcome is never pre- determined. So it needs the push and focus of each of us to ensure that consciousness moves in the best direction for the collective as a whole.
Anyway, I couldn’t possibly forecast more than a year ahead these days. The world has changed exponentially and people and organisations that don’t, and stick rigidly to long- term plans, failing to adapt and pivot with rapidly changing markets, disruptive technology, evolving systems start to decline.
We all need to operate in the now and leave behind the brave old world!
I mean who would have thought that in just 10 short years 75% of music would be downloaded? HMV didn’t. But back then, Coffee shops were not the offices of the entrepreneur! We trusted Bankers and The Cloud was simply a white thing hovering over the horizon.
The point is, these days there is no concrete ‘plan’, but instead an intelligent unfolding of how things simply are now…
So no credible long-term roadmap can be created in a world that looks like this, and that changes so quickly. We need to become masters and mistresses of extensibility and comfortable with the fluid state. Indeed this is what Neptune in Pisces demands of us. We need a wholly new mind-set and approach to operating in the world, our lives and in business – one that embraces uncertainty and instability and above all creativity. Beyond that, curiosity about what we don’t understand needs to exceed that which we do! Things are changing before our eyes in every market and aspect of our own lives. This needs new ways of working and being.
So I may be able help. I can help you match your hopes and expectations with the potential opportunities, build a vision and use the Life chart as a roadmap. But I can’t tell you what will happen, that is life and it is waiting for you to discover it!
